Hospitality
The hospitality team is responsible for developing and maintain a climate of radical hospitality; positive atmosphere, emotional safety, warmth, serving, making members and guests feel wanted and welcomed and comfortable. The hospitality team recruits, trains and supervises the greeters and ushers for all worship services. In addition the team insures that the facilities are clean, attractive, fresh and impressive.2008 Team Leader: Shelaine Moreno

Fellowship
The fellowship team develops and fosters a spirit of family, friendship and belonging within the Aldersgate while also emphasizing openness to guests. Team objectives are to develop strategies to assimilate new members and guests into connecting relationships with other church members, create as many opportunities as possible for people to meet, get to know one another and form lasting friendships in the church.2008 Team Leader: Debra Duffey

Service
The service team equips and coordinates members of Aldersgate to use their gifts and talents to serve others. The team coordinates Angel Food Ministry, Divorce Care, Divorce Care for Kids, Financial Peace University, and Celebrate Recovery.2008 Team Leader: Kathy May

Discipleship
This team develops and implements a comprehensive strategy for developing members into mature followers of Jesus. The primary means for accomplishing this ministry is Aldersgate Groups.2008 Team Leader: Gary Adams

Evangelism
The evangelism team plans, promotes, implements and oversees an overall outreach strategy that reaches out to persons, brings them to Jesus and partnership in his family and launches them into a process of Christian maturity.2008 Team Leader: Ricky Taylor

Women's Ministry
Coordinates women’s ministries of Aldersgate to insure the women of are empowered to grow in Christian discipleship. The Ministry supports Women of Influence, Celebration, and Beth Moore Bible Studies.2008 Team Leader: Connie Wood

The Church Council is the executive agency of the church. All teams are ultimately amenable to the Council. It provides for the administration of the churches organization and mission. Lay Leadership Team
This team identifies, develops, deploys and evaluates the spiritual leadership of the Aldersgate. The team recommends to the annual charge conference the names of people to serve as officers and leaders in the church.2008 Team Leader: Pastor Bruce Wood

Board of Trustees
The duties and responsibilities of the Trustees include the care, supervision, oversight, and maintenance of all real and personal property of the local church.2008 Team Leader: David Adame

Finance
The finance team is responsible for developing the annual budget, managing the finances of the church in accordance with the directions of the Church Council, developing and implementing plans that will raise sufficient income to meet the budget adopted by the church council.2008 Team Leader: Royce Robinson

Staff-Parish Relations
Assist the pastor(s) and staff in assessing their gifts and setting their priorities for leadership and service. This team serves as the lay personnel committee of the church. The SPRC communicates and interprets the role of the professional staff to the church family and helps the pastor and staff to understand the needs of the members of the church. The role of the SPRC is to encourage, strengthen, nurture, support, and respect the pastor and staff and their families, promote unity in the church, and confer with and counsel with the pastor and staff on the matters pertaining to the effectiveness of ministry. The SPRC recommends to the church council the needs and opportunities for professional leadership and the appropriate compensation for the professional staff.2008 Team Leader: Perry Bell

Lay Leader
The Lay Leader is the primary representative of the members of Aldersgate whose primary responsibilities include:- Fostering awareness of the role of laity both within the congregation and through their ministries in the home, workplace, community, and world.
- Meeting regularly with the pastor to assess the state of the church and the needs for ministry.
- The lay leader is a member of the Finance, Lay leadership, Staff-Parish Relation teams.

Lay Member to Texas Annual Conference
