Missions

At Aldersgate, we are on a mission! We follow the mission of our Savior Jesus Christ: to reach lost and hurting people with forgiveness, love, healing, and hope. We reach out to our community and our world to meet people’s immediate needs and to share the good news of the gospel.

Every month, the members of Aldersgate join together in a hands-on mission to our community, such as serving meals to the homeless, putting on a banquet for transient carnival workers, or loving children through our back to school event. Through our volunteering and giving, the members of Aldersgate support a variety of local projects, such as SOS Ministries, Jesus Said Love, Kairos Prison Ministry, and Bridges to Life Prison Ministry. Every year our youth are part of the UM Army that provides service projects for needy families across the United States.We share the love of Jesus with our world through medical missions in Trinidad and Tobago and Bible translation in Papua New Guinea.

We take Jesus at his word: that the test of whether we love Him is how we love others.
